Uninstalling the app doesn't result in the deletion of your account data. However, if you remain inactive for more than 6 months, your account will be hidden, and your matches and conversations will be deleted.

To retain your conversations and matches during a temporary break, consider freezing your account. Simply go to Settings >Account > Freeze and Hide My Account. This way, your profile stays in the app but remains hidden until your return. Data from frozen accounts will be stored for 6 months.
